Prof. Naail is a well-motivated academic professional with the passion for seeking and sharing knowledge, through edge-cutting research and teaching. He has authored publications on the comparative study of Management particularly the Religious Perspective on Organizational Behavior, Ethics, Spirituality, Social Responsibility, and Leadership. He has presented research papers at the local and international platforms and conferences in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and America. Particularly, he has attended and presented numerous research papers at the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD) international conferences.  Prof. Naail was a co-researcher of the prestigious Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) awarded by the Malaysian Ministry of Education of around USD30,000.

He is a member of the International Association of Islamic Economics and Finance and an executive member of the World Academy of Islamic Management (WAIM). He is able to supervise Ph.D., MBA and degree students in three (3) languages; English, Arabic and Bahasa Melayu (Malaysian language). He has successfully graduated a number of Ph.D., MBAs and dozens of degree research students, locally and internationally. He has served as a Lecturer (GTA) between 2009 to 2012, and Head of Global Leadership Research Unit and Assistant Professor after his Ph.D. completion in early 2012, at the Kulliyyah (Faculty) of Economics and Management Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). Prior to joining KNUST School of Business in January 2018, Prof.  Naail was an Associate Professor, and Head of Global Leadership Research Unit at the Faculty of Business, Accountancy, and Management at SEGi University in Kuala Lumpur. Prof. Naail is also a Professional trainer and a consultant, certified by the Malaysian Ministry of Human Resources. Among others, he has offered consultancy and professional training services on Excellence in Leadership, Management & Evaluation, and other areas, to some managers of Kuwaiti National Petroleum Company at Singapore, as well to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) and other organizations.
