Our History

Origins in the Department of Economics

The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) School of Business (KSB) has a rich history dating back to 2002 as an outgrowth of the Department of Economics and Industrial Management which began by offering a Post-graduate Diploma in Industrial Management, followed by an M.A. in Industrial Management and an MBA programme in 2002.

Launch of KSB

In 2005, the KNUST School of Business was established as its own faculty to fulfill the vision of providing excellence in business education. KSB was founded on the success of the MBA and other programs in the Department of Economics.
