The KNUST School of Business Graduate School Association (KSBGSA) Executives organized a high-impact online training session on statistical analysis, led by Dr. Gilbert Anyowuo Okyere, Research Software Training Expert, on July 28, 2025. The Session offered in-depth guidance on statistical techniques essential for producing high-quality academic research, including data screening, reliability testing, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), and mediation and moderation analysis using the SPSS Process Macro.
In the comprehensive training session, the participants learnt how to code questionnaires, compute variables, and interpret regression and correlation results. Dr. Okyere introduced the participants to data validation processes and provided insights on how to analyze demographic data effectively. A highlight of the session was the demonstration of customer loyalty model analysis, where attendees examined how perceived value and corporate image influence loyalty. The training concluded with an overview of mediation analysis and the use of bootstrap confidence intervals to confirm significance. All materials, recorded sessions, and resources were shared via Google Drive to support continued learning. The training represents a significant step in equipping graduate students with the analytical tools necessary for impactful, data-driven research. As the research journey continues, the KSBGSA remains committed to empowering scholars with the analytical tools and critical thinking skills needed to contribute meaningfully to academia and beyond, as initiatives like this reflect the KSBGSA’s enduring mission, ‘To Build Not Just Competent Researchers, but A Legacy of Excellence in Scholarship and Innovation.’
